What are Qualifications of Church Members?
- Members have a genuine salvation experience (John 3:5-8)
- Members are expected to be in agreement with What We Believe as published within the pages of this booklet. It is also known as The Statement of Fundamental and Essential Truths of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
- Members are expected to have been baptized in water subsequent to their salvation. Baptism may have taken place prior to becoming a member or at the earliest opportunity afterwards. (Matthew 28:19)
- Members are 18 years of age or over
- Members are expected to financially support New Life Church through tithes and offerings (1 Cor. 16:2)
- Members must refrain from sowing discord, fostering disunity and spreading false doctrine
- Members must endeavour to live according to the teachings and principles of Scripture, with a desire to bring glory to Jesus Christ (Romans 12:1-2)
